Wisdom Forklift Training in Oakville offers certified forklift training and certification. Each participant will be issued an operator safety manual. Participants will receive an operator’s safety manual upon successful completion of the course. On request, we can issue wall certificates.
The theory and the practical sections of our courses are separated. After completing the theory session, you will need to take the written certification examination. The instructor will guide you through a pre-use inspection, and review of controls, and then you’ll be asked to perform routine tasks on the forklift.

Practical Training for existing operators
After the classroom training, practical operator testing takes place on-site at your facility. Each operator is tested and then put through a series of operating tasks and maneuvers to determine competency and safety awareness. Also covered are pre-shift inspections and reporting procedures. The average testing time per operator is around 30 minutes. Testing on attachments or equipment that has more than two pieces will require additional time.
Practical Training for new operators
Practical operator training is required for participants with limited or no operating experience. Practical training durations vary depending on the equipment used and the aptitude of each operator. Practical training is an extra charge and should be scheduled in advance.
